The zip line event took 1-1/2 hours and we needed a rest. This one is located right in the heart of the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar area.

You can see the wall has several restorations, but much of the original from 700 years ago, still remains. This is Chiang Mai Gate.

The famous Chiang Mai Gate to Old Town. This gate is located on the south side of Old Town is the location for the north end of the Saturday Night Market. The street is closed to vehicle traffic and the market stalls come out.

Just inside the Chiang Mai Gate, there is a fairly large covered, open air market with individual booths selling … will if they don’t have it, you don’t need it.

An open air restaurant bar located at the east edge of the Anusarn Night Market. Great place to end the evening, have a coconut and Thai Rum served in the coconut, and catch a Tuk-Tuk back to the apartment.

Taken right in the midst of the night market area. The vendors are just beginning to set up their stalls. Every day, set ‘em up, fill ‘em with stuff to sell, and take ‘em apart just after mid-night.
